Angela Pippens: CDC Employee of the Month Award

Rotary International is one of the largest contributors in the eradication of polio and this year Atlanta and CDC played a major part in the highly successful event. For months, Angela Pippens was a part of the planning teams that helps coordinate over 400 Rotarians to tour the CDC and our Emergency Operations Center (EOC). Through constant communication Pippens was able to effectively manage the time in meetings and make sure milestones in the planning process were achieved.

CDC exhibited a booth at the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC). Pippens was an integral part of the team on deck to assemble the booth, distribute printed materials and artifacts. The booth attracted thousands of visitors throughout the convention. Congratulations Angela Pippens contributing your role, and the way that it impacted in the bigger picture.
